“Hope Springs Eternal in the Human Breast” —A. Pope
As long as there is life, there is Hope. Infact, it is the hope that sustains life and as said by O.S. Marden, “There is no medicine like Hope, no incentive so great, no Tonic so powerful, as expectation of something tomorrow.” Thus, make “HOPE” your breath.
And Exhale with = I AM HOPEFUL or IMMIH – HOOPEFUL
And Inhale with = LAFAPAHHAM
The word hopeful should be spoken inwardly as ‘HOOPEFUL’ for exhalation purpose, as orginally designed by the linguists. As we grow old, we also grow less hopeful and slowly become pessimistic due to the stark realities of life interactions; while, in our youth time, we are always hopeful and optimistic and thus feel more happy. Do not we find the old people generally wearing a Sad Look. Thus, hope is the sign of youth. This breathing mantra will also generate hope in you, first by the hypnotic suggestive power of the word, ‘I am hopeful’ and secondly the

And the illumination on our face generates hope in us.
ii) And the word F helps the lungs to breathe upto its full optimum capacity.
iii) The word P helps in the Heart circulation.
iv) The word H – the seed word for Vishudha/Throat Chakra helps to strengthen the Thyroid gland for better carbohydrate and fat metabolism. 2) We can introduce the word R in the above inhale mantra to re-ignite the dwindling Fire in our abdomen with age, to get rejuvenated.
Thus inhale with = LAFA-PRAHHAM

vi) The word R is the seed word for Manipur/Navel Chakra, it represents the Fire principle and strengthens the total abdominal glandular system for better digestion & assimilation of food, including the pancreas and the Liver.
vii) The word PR helps us to breathe both from the lungs with P as well as from the abdomen by the power of the word R. This mantra is the most efficient mantra for breathing because, breathing is helped threefold by the words (a) FA, (b) PRA and (c) HA and helps to take the breath to M – the crown chakra – The Charioteer of our body/mind system.
This breathing mantra, along with the following mantra, are very helpful for Bronchial patients. We can also substitute the word BR instead of PR because both these words are almost equivalent.
3) Inhale with = LAFFA- BRAHHAM
Exhale with = MIHI- BREEFFILL
4) Our Hindi language word for Hopeful is Ashawan. This is also a good inhale mantra. The word Asha’ means Hope.
Inhale with = AS HAW ANN AN

This breathing mantra particularly strengthens the left Brain and the eye sight with the help of the seed word N for Brow Chakra. This also strengthens the pituitary gland, which is the master gland directing the total immune system of our body. This is complementary to the above mantras. The Exhale mantra – ‘UNNEESWIEN’ means Nineteenth. Thus, with this mantra you will always be feeling young Hopeful Nineeteen. – yet in your Teens-Nineteen — the most youthful Nineteen.
