It is the innate nature of Mind to engage itself in some pleasing activity or the other. Once the mind is free, it can become naughty and a devil’s workshop and can make hell out of heaven and heaven out of hell. So, the best Way to nourish the mind, besides its craving for nutritious and tasty food is to keep it nourished with some useful activity and motivated with fruitful endeavours. All this is conveyed beautifully by the inhale mantra – “SDA-RAMANNA”, which means always totally involved in pleasing pursuits.
Inhale with = SDA-RAMANNA
Exhale with = NOURISHMENT or NOOREESH-MIND or NOURISH-MIND
Thus, the mind requires both food and also nourishment with pranic life energy which the above exhale/inhale mantra helps to amply provide.
The word ‘S’ helps to take the breath from its seat of origin about mid way between the Navel and the bottom of the spine to the Solar Plexus/Navel Chakra-the seed word for which is R which ignites the Fire Energy in our body/abdomen and then the breath imparts strength to all the organs of the brain and mind with the words M,N,D. Thus, this inhale mantra very adequately nourishes the mind with the pranic life energy.
The exhale mantra Nourishment is self explanatory and it is similar to the Hindi/Urdu word-NOOREESH which means -the eyes full of bliss because the above inhale/ exhale mantra gives sparkle to the eyes with the word N. Inhale/Exhale with the above mantra silently for five minutes in the morning and evening and the bliss will begin to radiate from your eyes – an insignia of well nourished mind/ brain system. This happens because N&M stimulate the total brain, the pituitary gland & the pineal gland to boost our Immune system.
