For Head
• Stand in erect and straight posture.
• Keep both the feet together. Keep both the arms hanging down and touching the thighs.
Concentrate on forehead with eyeballs upwards. Contract and relax the muscles of forehead alternately. Repeat this 3 times.
For Eyes
Exercise for eyes can be performed both in erect or sitting postures, and in different stages as mentioned below. After each exercise the eyes should be closed and rested for at least 30 seconds.
Stage-I
• Sit in Sukhasana or Padmasana.
• Close the eyes and face the sun.
• Rub the palms of the hands together until they become hot.
• Place the palms over the eyes very softly.
• Remove the hands after 2 minutes.
• Keep the eyes closed throughout.
• Repeat the exercise 5 times.
Stage-II
Assume a sitting posture.
Strech out both the legs straight in front of the body.
Strech out both the arms straight at the shoulder level with the thumbs pointing upwards.
Focus the eyes, without moving the head, on the following, alternately: left thumb while inhaling;
space between eyebrows while exhaling; right thumb while inhaling;
space between eyebrows while exhaling;
Repeat this exercise 10 times.
Stage-III
Maintain the same sitting posture as in stage-II, with the hands resting on knees.
Move the eyeballs upwards towards the forehead, while inhaling, looking at sky.
Then look straight while exhaling.
Bring down the eyeballs, while inhaling, looking at the feet.
Repeat the process 10 times.
Stage-IV
• Maintain the same sitting posture as in stage-Ill.
• Inhale and hold the breath.
• Rotate the eyeballs in a circle from left to right, with the help of right thumb (make a circular movement with the right thumb while keeping the eyes focused on the thumb).
• Exhale.
• Inhale and hold the breath.
• Then rotate the eyeballs in a circle from right to left similarly.
• Exhale.
• Then keep the eyes closed and rest for 30 seconds.
Stage-V
• Maintain the same posture as in stage-IV.
• Inhale and hold the breath.
• Focus the eyes on a distant object without blinking the eyelids.
• Exhale.
• Inhale and hold the breath.
• Focus the eyes on the nose, while sinking the eyelids.
• Exhale.
• Repeat it 5 times.
For Ears
Stage-I
• Keep the respiration deep, calm and regular.
• Rub the palms together until they become hot.
• Place them over the ears of their respective side.
• Press them to listen very peculiar inner sound.
Stage-II
Insert the respective index finger in the ears and rotate them with gentle pressure.
Stage-III
Massage the pinna of external ear by pulling it gently upward and downward.
For Mouth Cavity
Stage-I
• Open the mouth and fill the mouth cavity with air, keeping the cheeks inflated.
• Repeat it three times.
Stage-II
• First bring the teeth and jaws together with full pressure.
• Then open fingers of either of the hands inside the mouth cavity and produce any typical but rhythmic sound like A.A.A.A…for the maximum possible duration.
• Repeat it thrice.
