A – DIET
I. Raw juice diet for three days. Take a glass of fruit or vegetable juice every two hours, diluted with water, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and cleanse the bowels with warm-water enema during this period.
II. All-fruit diet for three further days. Take fresh juicy fruits at five-hourly intervals during this period.
III. Thereafter, the following diet may be adopted:
1. Upon arising: A glass of lukewarm water with half a freshly-squeezed lime and a teaspoon of honey.
2. Breakfast: Fresh fruit, a glass of milk and a handful of raw nuts.
3. Lunch: A bowl of freshly-prepared steamed vegetables, two or three whole wheat chappatis and a glass of buttermilk.
4. Mid-afternoon: A glass of vegetable or fruit juice or sugarcane juice.
5. Dinner: A large bowl of fresh green vegetable salad and mung bean sprouts.
AVOID: Meats, sugar, white flour, tea, coffee, condiments, pickles, refined and processed foods, fried foods and products made from sugar and white flour.
B – OTHER MEASURES
1. Maintain proper oral hygiene by careful brushing or teeth and gums.
2. Take multivitamin tablets, specially those high in vitamin C and B complex.
3. Fomentations every three hours over mouth, cheeks and jaws.
4. Hot foot bath twice daily.
