Diet Cure: Treatment Chart for Fatigue

A – DIET

Take optimum diet, consisting of seeds, nuts and grains, vegetables and fruits supplemented by milk, high quality unrefined vegetable oils and honey, on the following lines:-

1. Upon arising: A glass of lukewarm water with half a freshly squeezed lime and a teaspoon of honey.
2. Breakfast: Fresh fruit, a glass of milk, sweetened with honey and some seeds or nuts.
3. Mid-morning: A small sandwich of whole grain bread.
4. Lunch: A bowl of freshly-prepared steamed vegetables, two or three whole wheat chappatis and a glass of butter milk.
5. Mid-afternoon: A glass of fresh fruit or vegetable juice.
6. Dinner: A bowl of raw vegetable salad and sprouts such as alfalfa and mung beans, with lime juice and vegetable oil dressing, followed by a hot course if desired.
7. Bedtime Snack: A glass of mil or one apple.

Important: Take frequent small meals rather than three large ones.

AVOID: Tea, coffee, sugar, white flour and products made from them, refined foods, fried foods, flesh foods, condiments, pickles, alcohol and smoking. Take salt in a very minute quantity.

Especially Beneficial: Whole grain cereals, fresh raw nuts, dates, grapefruit, sprouted seeds, raw green leafy vegetables, root vegetables, raw vegetables juices, natural vitamin and mineral supplements, especially B vitamins, potassium, calcium, sodium and zinc.

B – OTHER MEASURES

1. Fresh air, breathing and -other light exercises.
2. Proper sleep and adequate rest.
