I. Raw juice diet for 5 days. Take a glass of fresh fruit or vegetable juice, diluted with water, every two hours during the day and use warm water enema daily.
II. Therefore, adopt the following diet:
1. Upon arising: A glass of lukewarm water with half a freshly-squeezed lime and a teaspoon of honey.
2. Breakfast: Fresh fruits, a glass of milk, sweetened with honey and few nuts.
3. Lunch: A bowl of freshly-prepared steamed vegetables, two or three whole wheat chappatis and a glass of buttermilk.-
4. Mid-afternoon: A glass of vegetable or fruit juice.
5. Dinner: A large bowl of fresh green vegetable salad, and sprout with olive oil and lemon juice dressing. This may be followed by a hot course, if desired.
6. Bedtime Snack: A glass of milk or one apple.
Note:
1. Short periods on raw juice diet may be spent at intervals of three months.
2. Take several small meals instead of few large ones.
Avoid: Hydrogenated fats and excess of saturated fats, excess of salt, tea, coffee, sugar, white flour, all products made with sugar and white flour, all refined foods, fried foods and flesh foods, condiments, pickles, foods cooked in aluminium vessels and smoking.
SPECIALLY BENEFICIAL: Grapefruit juice, pineapple juice, lemon juice and green vegetable juices, garlic and onion.
B – OTHER MEASURES
1. Brisk walks for 45 minutes morning and evening.
2. Avoid mental stress and worries.
3. Neutral immersion bath for one hour daily at bedtime.
