Diet Cure: Treatment Chart for Acne

I. An exclusive diet of fresh juicy fruits for five days. Take three meals a day at five-hourly intervals and use warm water enema daily during this period.

II. Therefore, adopt the following diet:

1. Upon arising: A glass of lukewarm water with half a freshly-squeezed lime and a teaspoon of honey.

2. Breakfast: Fresh fruits such as apple, orange, grapes, papaya, mangoes, a cup of fresh milk, sweetened with honey or buttermilk.

3. Lunch: A bowl of steamed vegetables, whole wheat chappatis with butter and a glass of buttermilk.

4. Mid-afternoon: A glass of fresh fruit or vegetable juice or sugarcane juice.

5. Dinner: A bowl of fresh green vegetable salad, with lime juice dressing, sprouted seeds and fresh home-made cottage cheese or a glass of buttermilk.

Restrict: Starchy, protein and fatty foods, as well as salt intake.

Note:

1. Repeat the exclusive diet of fresh juicy fruits every month for three days till the skin condition improves.

2. Take liberally Vitamin A-rich foods.

B – OTHER MEASURES

1. Apply hot fomentation to open up the pores and squeeze out the waste matter.

2. Expose the whole body to sun and air baths.

3. A hot epsom-salts bath twice a week in the night.
