We have already talked about the effect of magnets on all life forms including liquids. The drinking of magnetized water, along with magnetic treatment, is recommended by most magneto-therapists. It forms a complete treatment. Magnetized water can also be consumed as a preventive as well as a post-treatment maintenance regimen.
When water or any liquid is kept in contact with a permanent magnet for a certain period, its magnetism passes into it. Water can be magnetised in different ways.
One method is to suspend a magnet over an empty pot. Water is poured over the magnet in a thin stream, which is collected in the pot. This has its drawbacks though and is not a recommended method.
The other method is to place a magnet for a few hours in a pot filled with water. The water slowly gets magnetised. This method has many limitations too.
The third method, which is the best, is to fill the water in two tumblers or any containers with flat bottoms. One container should be put on the centre of one magnet in which the North Pole is exposed and the other container should be placed on another container in which the South Pole is exposed. The magnets should be disc type, round and flat, with a diameter of about 10 cms.
The bottoms of the containers should cover the surfaces of the magnets used. The containers should be of glass, stainless steel orplastic. This will help the free flow of magnetism. The containers can be kept on the magnets for many hours. After the containers are taken off the magnets, the water from both containers can be mixed or kept separately. If the water is mixed, it becomes bipolar water. If it isn’t, it can be used separately as North Pole and South Pole water.
When water is magnetised, the degree of magnetization and the therapeutic utility of bipolar and unipolar magnetism needs to be studied. The degree of magnetization depends on the quantity of water used, the power of the magnet and the duration of contact. While the power of magnets can be measured, there is no method to measure the degree of magnetization of water.
Magnetized water is often prescribed as an addition to magnetic treatment. Different magneto-therapists use different doses for different treatments. There is no standard gauge and the modalities will depend on the therapist, the ailment and the patient.
After a great deal of experimentation, Dr Samuel Hahnemann came up with three homeopathic medicines. One was from the combination of both the North and the South Pole, and the other two were from the two poles each. He laid down precise symptoms for the use of these three medicines. Normally, only bipolar water is prescribed. But there is no doubt that the treatment will be more specific if the other poles are also used independently.
Apart from water, other liquids can also be magnetised and with good results too. If milk is kept on the South Pole for about half an hour and then ingested every day it is an excellent remedy for exhaustion. Fruit juices and even beer have benefited with magnetization. Magnetized medicinal oils have been particularly useful in the treatment of rheumatism.
Magnetized water regulates bowel movements and rids the body of toxins. It can be used as a preventive by healthy persons too. Water kept in a magnetized container for about six hours can be consumed every day. It also helps with blood pressure problems, normalises the circulatory system and helps in clearing clogged arteries. It is also useful in the treatment of asthma, bronchitis and coughs and colds.
Magnetized water can also be used for washing swollen, sore and tired eyes, wounds and some skin diseases. Regular washing of the eyes with magnetized water is an excellent preventive care.
