LEDUM PALI ST RE
Punctured wounds by sharp pointed instruments, as nails; rat bites, stings of insects, mosquitoes. Long remaining discolouration after injuries; “black and blue” places become green. Sticking, throbbing tearing pains. Contusion of eye and lids with extravasation of blood.
Patient is cold all the time; feet always cold and chilly. Rheumatic pains are worse from motion, at night and by warmth of bed and bed-covering better only when holding feet in ice-cold water. Rheumatism begins in lower limbs and ascends (descends; Kalmia). Shoulder pain when raising arm.
LYCOPODIUM
Deep seated, progressive, chronic diseases. Chiefly right-sided complaints worse from 4to 8 p.m. Or complaints go from right to left, (throat, chest, abdomen, liver, ovaries). Baby cries all day, sleeps all night. Child weak, emaciated, puny, looks older than he is.Fan-like motion ofalae nasi. (Ant.t). Neglected or maltreated pneumonia. Excessive accumulation of flatulence. Constant sensation of satiety.
A few mouthfuls fill up to the throat; he feels bloated. ‘Red sand in urine, on child’s diaper; child cries before urinating. (Borax). Greedy, malicious, easily angered; cannot endure opposition or contradiction. Desires sweets, delicacies. Worse from cold food and drinks. Domineering, dictatorial, exacting. Fear of being alone; loves company. Nose dry, stopped up at night.
MAGNESIA CARB.
Suits children of irritable disposition, nervous temperament; sour smell of whole body. Whole body feels tired and painful, esp. the legs and feet. Sleep unrefreshing; more tired on rising than when retiring. Inordinate craving for meat in children of tubercular parentage.
Toothache during pregnancy, worse night. Diarrhoea, cutting doubling up every three weeks; stools green, frothy like scum on a frog-pond. Milk passes undigested in nursing children. Menses flow only at night or when lying; pitch like, difficult to wash off (Med).
