FEAR

Aconite – Terror, anxiety, agonising fear. Remote effects of fright. Ailments from shock, fright, exposure to cold dry winds. Predicts the day of his death.

Gelsemium – Bad effects of great fright or fear. Anticipation of ordeals brings on diarrhoea (Arg.nit). Fear of falling. Diarrhoea from fright, bad news.

Stramonium – A remedy of terrors. Disposed to talk continuously; incessant and incoherent talking laughing, praying, entreating with suppressed menses. Desires light and company; cannot bear to be alone. Worse in the dark and solitude. Fear of dogs, ghosts.

Leuticum – Terrible dread of night. All complaints worse at night. The mental and physical exhaustion on waking in the morning is intolerable. Prays for day light.

ARROGANCE, PRIDE

Lycopodium – Haughty; dictatorial. Talks with an air of command. Cannot endure opposition or contradiction.

Platina – Arrogant, proud, contemptuous, haughty. Mental delusions, as if everything about her is small; all persons physically and mentally inferior, but she is large and superior. “Looking down” on people usually venerated. Mental disturbances after grief, fright, vexation. Mental symptoms appear as physical symptoms disappear, and vice versa.

OBSTINATE, HEADSTRONG

Belladonna – Disposition to bite, spit, strike and tear things. Breaks into fits of laughter and gnashes the teeth. Knocking the head against the wall.

Chamomilla – Obstinate. Highly irritable and impatient. Answers anappishly; cannot be civil in his answers. Child can be quieted only by being carried (Cina cannot be quieted at all).

Nux vomica – Obstinate Ailments from mental exertion. Very fastidious (Conscientious). Irritability when questioned. Easily offended; (takes everything in bad part). Desire to strike, hit with violent anger.

Tuberculinum – Obstinate. Knocks head against the wall. Offended easily (takes everything in bad part). Takes cold easily without knowing how. Melancholy, despondent, morose, irritable, peevish, sulky. Symptoms ever changing. Rapid and pronounced emaciation. Fear of cats and dogs. Desires to travel, to wander.
