PAIN IN DELTOID MUSCLES (Frozen shoulder)
Ferrum met. – Rheumatic pain in the left deltoid muscles with inability to move the arm or fingers.
Sanguinaria – Cutting pain or stiffness in right deltoid muscle (Colo.), worse raising or turning the arm. Rheumatism of right shoulder and left hip joint. Pain in shoulder worse at night.
COLDS, CORYZA, SNEEZING
Arsenicum – Copious watery discharge. Frequent sneezing without relief.
Chamomilla – Extremely sensitive to all odours. Hot coryza with obstruction of nose; inability to sleep.
Hepar sulph. – Nose stopped up, or sneezing and running from the nose every time he goes into cold, dry wind. Ripened colds and old catarrh. Sneezesfrom every cold wind.
Kali bich. – Discharge ropy, greenish yellow; viscid from posterior nares. Violent sneezing worse in the morning. Chronic inflammation of frontalsinuses (Sinusitis). Lycopodium Chronic coryza. Discharge yellow. Nose stopped up, has to breathe through the mouth. Prefers warm drinks.
Mercurius – Red, raw, dirty nosed children. Coryza acrid, purulent, too thick to run. Much sneezing. Sneezing in sunshine. Nostrils raw, ulcerated. Colds travel upwards or attack eyes.
Phosphorus – Chronic catarrh. Sneezing worse from odours, smoke, with dyspnoea, causes pain in the chest. Descending nose colds. Oversensitive to smell. Sneezing and coryza on putting hands in water.
Nux vomica – Coryza fluent by day and in open air; dry at night. Sneezing violent, abortive from intense crawling in nostrils.
Pulsatilla – Loss of smell with catarrh. Coryza; obstruction of nose worse lying down or in a warm room; better going out in the open air. Discharges thick, bland and yellowish-green.
Silicea – Obstinate colds with ear affections.
Tuberculinum – Colds ending in diarrhea.
