The first patient is the inventor himself of this science of Rod-therapy, we mean, Mr. Lal Singh Kang himself. He had been suffering for more than 10 years with Parkinson’s disease and was cured with rod-massage.
As per medical science a certain part of the brain fails to work and thus loses control of particular parts of the body. Doctors use L-Dopa, a medicine, to stimulate the brain. Though showing slight effect, L-Dopa has serious side effects some-times. It induces glaucoma (kaala motia) in the eyes.
Mr. Kang, through his research, tells us that the defect is not in the brain, but in the stiff muscles which make neurotransmitters immobile and they cannot oscillate to transmit the electric current from the brain to that particular part of the body and that part fails to work.
This has been, time and again, proved by curing patients of Parkinson’s disease by rod-massage of the affected part, the massage removing the stiffness of the muscles and restoring the neurotransmitters to their normal state of work.
Mr. Kang says, “The failure in the functioning of my anus and the trembling of my arms was due to Parkinson’s disease. With rod-massage both are working properly, which gives strength to my theory”.
Among other cases of Parkinson’s disease that cured perfectly were of Shrimati Dhanjit Kaur of 148-F, Azad Marg, Jaipur and Shri Palwinder Singh, Electrician, Central Vehicle Depot, Delhi Cantt. Both had their arms and legs trembling uncontrollably.
Their bodies were stiff and eyes bewildered. Now, says Mr. Kang, they have been nearly cured. Their bodies are no longer stiff and eyes have become bright. The eye-sight of Palwinder Singh (50) has improved.
Mr. Kang has treated many heart patients during the last 10 years, he says, restoring them to good health without any adverse effect. So also patients of diabetes and blood pressure were cured.
Describing of the Parkinson’s disease, Mr. Kang says that Rheumaticism, Arthritis and Parkinsons’s disease are three stages of the same ailment. With the deposit of mucus on the nerves, bad cold or exposure causes rheumaticism.
One feels tiresomeness, short of breath and no desire to leave his bed in the morning. Slowly pains develop in the neck, shoulders, back, waist, knees or other joints.
This is followed by Arthritis, when the patient, with all these pains, has his skin getting soft and losing tension, the pores of the skin close, giving no perspiration. Such a person sitting in the sun gets feverish, as, for lack of perspiration, the pores of the skin fail to cool the body.
The soft skin gets abraded on rubbing. The third stage is the Parkinson’s disease. Muscles of the body get stiff and fail to obey the orders of the brain. The limbs start shaking and the anus does not close. The skin appears like wax or a plastic one.
One cannot bend or turn due to stiffness. He walks upright like a rod. Hands shake uncontrollably. Rheumatic and sciatica pains come in this category. All have been cured by Rod-therapy.
Among other cases of merit, one Pyara Singh of Habowal near new Dayanand Hospital had blurred vision due to cataract. His vision became clear after rod-massage of only seven days.
If fibrosis occurs alongwith arthritis, the limbs become thick and hard. Mrs. Kamini, wife of Mr. Lai Singh, Chief Engineer, PSEB, Patiala is a good example. She is a woman of indomitable courage and practised rod-therapy suffering its hard way of treatment. Her body became thinner and softer within three months.
Patients suffering from epilepsy (mirgi), arthritis, polio and paralysis have similar symptoms in the arms and legs. An example. Agnus, a 13-year daughter of Benjamin, 41, Bindalwala National Road, Dehra Dun, a patient of polio, had very thin legs and crawled on her buttocks.
Her eyes were dull and there was squint in her eyes. Saliva flowed uncontrollably from her mouth and her speech was incoherent. After 22-days of rod-massage at the clinic, her eyes became bright, the squint vanished, saliva stopped flowing and speech restored. Her legs gained some flesh and she started walking with the aid of her mother.
Two boys aged, 10 and 11—Narinder Singh s/o Tajinder Singh Jat of Jandiali (on Ludhiana-Samrala Road) and Kanwaljit Singh, s/o Rajinder, Tailor, of the same village, had their right thighs weak and right legs a bit shorter. A danda-maalish (rod-massage) for two months cured them and they became normal.
Shri Kaka Singh (55) of Harijan Ikolaha near Khanna went there for treatment of his aching knees. He could see only light and shade and nothing else. After a rod-massage of only 15 days, he was surprised to find that he could see the faces quite clearly. His cataract vanished.
There is a long list of the names of patients and the diseases they were suffering from, at the clinic of the institute. Almost all had their ailments cured, some in 7 days and others from 7 days to two or three months. We just mention the names and nature of diseases which are recorded there, as cured.
Nagin Chand (48), suffered from childhood, defecating 5-6 times a day and urinating 12 times. His urination became regular within 7 days as also defecation. Trilochan Singh had chronic headache, also side pain and knee pain—all vanished in 10 days.
Harbans Singh (48) had his eyesight improved and speech regained. Darshana, 3 year old, could not sit up, nor walk due to polio. She was fully cured, in 4 days. Gurucharan Singh (55) cured of chronic constipation and gas trouble.
Vimla Sareen, 40 years, Lecturer, Government College, Hoshiarpur, suffered from laziness and pain in joints. She felt relief from pains in 7 days and her body became active. Darshan Singh, 47 years, 292 Shastri Nagar, Jammu.
He has tremors in arms and legs. He got cure for 3 days and was advised treatment at home. Subedar Sher Singh, Retd. Village and P.O. Baddowal, Distt. Ludhiana. Weight 99 kilos. Body pains, Edema on whole of the body, tiredness, shortness of breath and gastric trouble. In 15 days weight came down to 81 kilos, body became agile and alert. Harbans Lal, son of, Bakhtawar Chand, 35 years, Partap Street, Kanna, (Ludhiana). Arms and legs moved uncontrollably needed help of others in walking. After rod-therapy treatment of 20 days muscular spasms vanished. He could walk with aid.
Rakhiv Das, 60 years, son of, Des Raj Jain, Parava Bazar, Malerkotla. Right side was paralysed five years back, Right hand fisticuff was tight. Rod-massage for 20 days, right-hand fisticuff opened and arms could also be raised. Rajiv Kumar, son of, Harkishan Lal, 4 years old, Bazigar Mohalla, Samrala. From birth the child had been weak. Could not walk. Crawled on belly and hands and knees. Uncontrollable flow of saliva from mouth. After 20 days of Rod-massage, saliva flow stopped. The boy started walking by holding his mother’s fingers.
In the end, Shri Lal Singh Kang himself says, “I suffered from chronic headache and the head was bald. Due to rod-massage there is no headache for the last seven years. Hair has grown again on the bald plate”. It can be imagined what Shri Lal Singh, being a Sikh gentleman, would have been feeling for years with his head sans hair and quite bald. Thus it must be a miracle to him, that the growth of hair on his head returned. What more convincing could be said of Rod-therapy?
